BopCut video editor
Edit your video directly in your browser
The BopCut online video editor lets you cut and arrange local video, audio and image files on a timeline, preview the result and export a video.
Open the video editorImport the files you already have
Start with media from your device. The editor supports video, audio and images that your browser can decode. A filename extension alone does not guarantee compatibility: two MP4 files can use different codecs. Try a short sample before assembling a large project.
Build a sequence on a timeline
Add your imported media to the timeline, arrange the clips and trim their edges. Preview the sequence as you work. Video, image and audio clips let you combine visuals with a soundtrack, and track controls help you organize the project.
Keep an eye on gaps and overlapping media. Listen through the complete sequence before exporting: a clean edit includes the audio as well as the picture.
Choose an export that fits your project
BopCut offers MP4 and WebM export, subject to the formats supported by your browser. Resolution choices are 480p, 720p and 1080p. The export records the sequence locally at 30 frames per second and normally takes approximately the length of your montage.
Keep the tab in the foreground and avoid starting another export while it is running. See the export guide for format compatibility and practical checks.
Work with local media
The montage runs in your browser. Your local editing files are not sent to an AI generation service by importing them into the editor. Keep the original files and save a project if you want to return to the edit. Export a video when you need a file that plays independently of the editor.
Is the BopCut editor the same as AI generation?
The timeline editor and AI tools are different features of the BopCut workspace. The editor is available now. Paid image and video generation require an authenticated account and paid credits and are currently unavailable while those services are being connected.
